A Public Hearing as well as a Community Development Revenue Sharing Advisory Committee (CDRS) Meeting will be held on April 18, 2013 at 5:30 PM in the Freeholders Public Meeting 5th Floor, Administration and Records Building, Court Street, Morristown, New Jersey.

Items on the Agenda include:

  • Morris County Division of Community Development Projected Use of 2013 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds.
  • Proposed revisions to the Citizen Participation plan prescribing use of funds remaining after CDBG and HOME activities are complete, a balance exists and subgrantees rescind their right to the remaining funds. The revision would stipulate the threshold amount requiring public notice and amendment to the Action Plan.

Notice is hereby given that the Morris County Division of Community Development will hold an Orientation Meeting for the 2013 Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships and Emergency Solutions Grant programs on November 15, 2012 at 4 PM in the Knox Room, 5th Floor, Administration and Records Building, Court Street in Morristown, New Jersey. A Public Hearing and Community Development Revenue Sharing Committee will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 5:30 PM in the Cafeteria, located on the 4th Floor, Administration and Records Building, Court Street in Morristown, New Jersey.

The open public portion of this meeting will be to provide information and obtain citizens comments regarding the program performance of the Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships and Emergency Solutions Grant programs from July 1, 2011 thorough June 30, 2012; housing, homeless and community development needs as well as information regarding the 2013 application process.
